About Us

Mrs. Anderson

I was born in San Diego, CA but grew up near Lubbock, TX. My husband recently retired from the Air Force and we decided to stay here forever when he was offered a job to stay at Eglin! I have one son, Coleton who will be a junior at UWF this year. I also have one dog, Buoy, an Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix.

My family and I enjoy camping, hiking, jet skiing, boating, paddle boarding... anything that has to do with water! We love to travel to different places and visit Texas as often as possible where our families live.

I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2001 with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education K- 6. In 2014, I graduated with my Master's in Curriculum Instruction: Technology from Grand Canyon University. This will be my 21st year teaching with 19 years teaching 1st graders. I previously taught Kindergarten for my first 2 years teaching. I love children... my goal and ambition in my teaching career is to be a positive role model for students to be successful throughout their elementary experience.

Mrs. Wright

I was born in Michigan but didn't live there long. My dad was in the Air Force so we did a lot of moving around. I graduated High School in South Carolina. Upon graduating my family and I moved to Niceville, Florida. My dad retired while stationed at Eglin.

I attended Northwest Florida State College where I received my B.A. in Education and then received my Master's from Grand Canyon University in Curriculum Instruction: Technology.

I have 1 dog, Theo, a Shar Pei who is very spoiled. I like spending time with my 2 boys and grandchildren.
