• Please note that student daily practice should include weekly phonics skills, previous unit reading text and calendar (sent home at the end of each unit), 20 minutes of reading, and math chapter packet that comes home the day we start a new chapter.

• Homework PRACTICE packets are NOT expected to be returned to school. These are resources provided to you for reinforcement of skills at home. We trust you will use them to help your student practice for assessments given at school. HOWEVER, any work not completed in class due to an absence, not working in a timely manner or playing around will be sent home with a note to complete and return.

Welcome to 1st Grade at Eglin Elementary!

We are honored to be your child's 1st grade teachers this year! Together, we can make a difference in your child's education and be positive role-models for a successful school year!
